Maybe it was the s...I'm not sure how old I was. Maybe it was the summer I was thirteen. Baltimore's public library system, the Enoch Pratt Free Library, sponsored a reading game for kids & teens. Of <i>course</i>, I was all over <i>that</i>. At the end of summer the Pratt hosted a talk from Lois Duncan. The books I chose as my prize for completing the reading game were her books. I got to meet her and have her sign my little paperbacks. It was a big moment for this budding bibliophile.
