I love meeting David Abrams and his lovely family, and driving along the so-familiar Oregon Coast with the newlyweds as they head off into their lives.Kiriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12139065847193338983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8407679229975998493.post-1886785121242842522013-09-09T09:35:47.877-06:002013-09-09T09:35:47.877-06:00LIKE : )LIKE : )cynthia newberry martinhttp://catchingdays.cynthianewberrymartin.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8407679229975998493.post-59087136530291421432013-09-07T13:07:57.117-06:002013-09-07T13:07:57.117-06:00Thanks, Margaret. I married young, too, and my husband was in the Ranger Battalion at Ft Lewis. Those days seem much sweeter in retrospect than they did while they were going on (we would've qualified for food stamps, if only he didn't get the extra jump pay, LOL). And, the post helped me see the core of a scene I've been working on all morning. In it, a woman wants to talk her 20 year old daughter out of marrying before she finishes school, and she's trying to convey (perhaps not quite like Rumsfeld) that her daughter doesn't know how much she doesn't know. So, thanks for the post, and congrats on your success!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
