ReplyDeleteFrom what I read of other reviews, I think this is a controversial book about a certain era. Misogyny, No, sexist, probably. A man of a certain age, created by that age, and in some respects, he may be a role model for why Women rebelled. However it is also a book of class attitudes that are described with accuracy for that post WW II time.
